Cameron Aircraft created a P51 mustang aircraft that was lighter than the original P51 airplanes originally built. To see this project, click on the Team 51 button.
Their next major project, which is now in progress, was to see if they could find a less expensive process to build than the P51 used. This project is a Vintage Unlimited Hydroplane which is a replica of the Miss Spokane which ran from the late 1950's to the early 1960's. To see how this project is progressing, click on the Miss Spokane Replica button.
Our newest project is to team with NIC (North Idaho College) to create a Turbine Unlimited Hydroplane. The students will learn about resin infusion, carbon fiber, and many other materials and techniques as they create a current type unlimited hydroplane. An article was published in the Spokesman Review on Oct 2, 2014 explaining the partnership between NIC and Cameron Aircraft. To read this article, click here Spokesman Review Article.
